Purandeswari likely to be fielded from Visakhapatnam

The Central Election Committee of the Congress which met till late Monday night is understood to have cleared the list of almost all the candidates for Lok Sabha from the State. A majority of the sitting MPs are learnt to have been renominated in the list.

An official announcement of the candidates is, however likely to be made in two days.

According to the tentative list cleared by the CEC, Killi Kriparani has been renominated from Srikakulam Lok Sabha and Botcha Jhansi will be the candidate from Vizianagaram. Kishore Chandra Deo is likely to be fielded from the newly-created Araku constituency while Sabbam Hari is tipped as the party nominee from Anakapalle.

Daggubati Purandeswari is likely to be fielded from Visakhapatnam and M.M. Pallam Raju renominated from Kakinada while Vundavalli Arunkumar has been retained from Rajahmundry.
