With NTR Junior becoming a star campaigner for Telugu Desam Party in Srikakulam, the Congress hit upon a novel idea. It brought NTR-Telugu Desam president N. Lakshmi Parvati to Srikakulam and asked her to address meetings along with Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao in criticising Mr. Chandrababu Naidu for ‘ditching’ her husband and Telugu Desam Party found N.T. Rama Rao.
